CAP: 0.25-.0.5mm wide. A small member of the inkcap complex whose orange-brown cap starts ovoid and wrinkled before becoming flattened, translucently grey and grooved. STIPE: White to pale grey, slender with a smooth surface. GILLS/PORES: Gills are adnexed, fairly crowded and start grey before turning black, rarely deliquescing. FLESH: Thin, white with no taste or smell. SPORES: Black, lens-shaped in shaded view more triangular and rounded in face view. 7-10 * 6.5-10um. HABITAT: Parasola misera is saprobic in/on dung or excretions of the weathered dung of Herbivores. SEASON: Common. Late summer to autumn. EDIBILITY: Inedible. |
